More than 100 people attended an event Tuesday in support of the Vitae Foundation, a not-for-profit organization working to reduce the number of abortions. Guest speaker, Col. Jack Jackson, spoke on behalf of the organization and the majority of his fellow armed forces speculating "90 percent of armed forces are pro-lifebecause they know the meaning of what it means to take another person's life." Vitae plans to partner with local pregnancy centers and launch an integrated media campaign in Missouri this fall that will include non-confrontational ads that reach out to women facing an unplanned pregnancy and connect them with local resources where they can find free, confidential and caring support. ...
