Clyde and Charlotte Kasten of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Joy Yvonne Kasten, to Dave E. Cline. He is the son of Bonnie Easterwood of Boulle, Ala., and Tom Cline of Leesville, La.

Kasten is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and a 2008 graduate of Metro Business College. She is employed at AO Employment Services in Cape Girardeau.

Cline attended Central High School. He is a driver with Schott Transportation in Oran, Mo.

A July 4 wedding is planned at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson.
