Morton - Wichern

Jeff and Mary Morton of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsea Danielle Morton, to Phillip Dennis Wichern. He is the son of Dennis Wichern of Jackson and Wanda Bailey of Benton, Mo.

Morton is a 2006 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in finance from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She is employed at the Bank of Missouri.

Wichern is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Southeast in 2007. He is self-employed.

An Aug. 15 wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church.
