Cape Girardeau

The following items were released Tuesday by the Cape Girardeau Police Department. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* David Randall DePew, 42, 1927 N. Kingshighway, Lot 3, was arrested on suspicion of domestic assault and possession of a controlled substance.

* Stephen Douglas Sheldrake II, 22, 1207 N. Main St., was arrested on two city warrants for contempt of court for stealing, and on a city warrant for contempt of court for possession of a controlled substance.

* Lorenzo D. Braxton, 19, 3103 Laurel Lane, was arrested on city warrants for contempt of court and failure to pay fine and costs for various traffic offenses.

Summons

* Monica Jean Thornton, 34, 116 N. Spring St., Apt. 6, was issued on a summons for suspicion of peace disturbance.

Thefts

* A cell phone and cash were reported stolen from 620 Commercial St.

* A digital camera and three lemonades were stolen from 121 N. West End Blvd.

* Wheels were reported stolen from 447N. Main St.

* A purse and its contents were reported stolen from 205 Caruthers Ave.

Miscellaneous

* Syringes were found at 252 Siemers Drive.

* A burglary was reported at 2304 W. Cape Rock Drive.

* A gold bracelet was reported lost at Westfield Shoppingtown West Park.
