* At 7:56 p.m., emergency medical service in the 800 block of Perry Avenue.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* At 2:25 a.m., an alarm at 1710 N. Sprigg St.

* At 4:57 a.m., an alarm at Kingshighway and Shawnee Boulevard.

* At 6:07 a.m., a citizen assist in the 1500 block of Whitener Street.

* At 6:40 a.m., emergency medical service in the unit block of Henderson Avenue.

* At 10:08 a.m., a citizen assist in the 1500 block of Whitener Street.
