The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Misty J. Batterton, 25, 709 Albert St., was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property.

* Dillon R. Farrar, 18, of Gordonville was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Harry D. Sloan, 19, 422 Bellevue St., Apt. A, was arrested on suspicion of property damage.

* Jacob M. Wippler, 18, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

* Brian M. Schroeder, 20, of St. Louis was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure and being a minor in possession of alcohol.

* Michael D. Smith, 54, homeless, was arrested on suspicion of stealing and trespassing.

* Michael E. Green, 32, no address given, was arrested on two Cape Girardeau warrants for failure to appear, one Mississippi County warrant for probation violation, and three Cape Girardeau County warrants for failure to appear for neglect, nonsupport and assault.

* Zachariah T. Nelms, 19, 53 Green Acres Drive, Anterio T. Pullen, 18, 2501 Melrose St., Matthew J. Bierschwal, 19, 2437 Horseshoe Ridge, and Leslie H. Knott, 18, 1717 Luce St., were arrested on suspicion of possession of alcohol by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance.

Summonses

* Shalonda D. Snider, 29, 901 S. Benton St., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of weeds.

* Jennifer C. Hamilton, 25, 763 West Rodney Drive, was issued a summons for a leash-law violation.

* Brittany E. Davis, 27, 1009 Bloomfield St., was issued a summons for animal neglect, failure to obtain city animal license and leash-law violation.

* Roger D. Davault, 49, of Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to maintain property free of trash and litter.

Assault

* A domestic assault was reported.

* A domestic assault was reported.

Theft

* A computer was reported stolen at 640 Mason St.

* Hucks, 353 S. Kingshighway, reported a theft of cash.

* A wallet was reported stolen at 3439 William St.

Property damage

* Vehicle damage was reported at 1751 Themis St.

Miscellaneous

* A 19-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A forgery was reported.

* A 51-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.
