The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Cathy J. Scaggs, 50, 1801 Eagle Drive, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrest

* Terry Allen, 23, of Cape Girardeau was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear.

Summonses

* Amanda M. Muse, 30, 612 N. Farmington Road, was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

* Jennifer A. Huffman, 31, 210 S. Bellevue St., was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

* Travis K. Underwood, 32, of Marble Hill, Mo., was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* Charles B. Strop, 16, 4940 County Road 532, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

Assault

* An assault was reported in the 1600 block of West Independence Street.

* A fight was reported in the 500 block of West Main Street.

Burglary

* A burglary was reported in the 100 block of South Hope Street.

* Theft was reported in the 100 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

* Theft was reported in the 900 block of Oak Street.

Miscellaneous

* Harassing phone calls were reported in the 1500 block of Oak Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 1800 block of Old Cape Road.

* A liquor violation was reported.

* A court-order violation was reported in the 100 block of South Hope Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 600 block of West Adams Street.

Fire

Jackson firefighters responded to the following calls Friday:

* Emergency medical service on Daisy Avenue.

* Emergency medical service on Old Cape Road.
