* At 9:40 p.m., a carbon monoxide detector sounding in the 1700 block of Brookwood Drive.

Firefighters responded to the following calls Monday:

* At 12:28 a.m., emergency medical service in the 1400 block of Lexington Avenue.

* At 10:05 a.m., a vehicle fire at a gas station at 1624 N. Kingshighway.

* At 12:45 p.m., a motor vehicle crash at 3026 William St.

* At 1:51 p.m., emergency medical service in the 600 block of South Spring Avenue.

* At 2:42 p.m., emergency medical service in the 1800 block of East Plaza Way.

* At 5:03 p.m., a first alarm on 2536 Boutin Drive.
