Beth Nielsen of LaVergne, Tenn., and Craig Benz of Pacific, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Erica Danielle Schnurbusch, to Aaron Robert Bornstein, both of Kansas City, Mo. He is the son of Allan and Nancy Bornstein of Cape Girardeau.

Schnurbusch is a 2003 graduate of Pacific High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Missouri in 2008, and is pursuing a master's degree in business administration with Webster University. She is employed in management at Target in Kansas City.

Bornstein is a 2004 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Missouri in 2008. He is a first year medical student at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.

A June 19 wedding is planned at the Lemp Mansion in St. Louis.
