Brandy Lee Green and Stanley Warren McIntire Jr. of Cape Girardeau announce their engagement. She is the daughter of the late Leroy and Betty Green of Patton, Mo. McIntire is the son of Stanley and Charlotte McIntire of Gulf Port, Miss.

Green is a 1997 graduate of Meadow Heights High School in Patton, and received a bachelor of science degree in mass communication from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. She is an account executive at Fox 23 KBSI and WB 49 WDKA.

McIntire is a 1993 graduate of Jennings County High School in North Vernon, Ind. He is general manager at Shoe Carnival in Cape Girardeau.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Jackson.
