Scholarships

The following students received scholarships from Southeast Missouri State University:

* Desiree Arnzen of Leopold, Mo., and Katherine Nickelson of Cape Girardeau received the Community College Scholarship.

* Kayla Messmer of Jackson, Lacey Brown, Taylor Morse and Merritt Fluegge of Cape Girardeau received the Missouri Assessment Program Scholarship.

Honors, Achievements

* Nathan Kolda, a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, was named to the spring semester dean's list and graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.

* The following students were named to the spring semester dean's list at Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Mo.:
