The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Joe Hatchett Jr., 54, 1816 N. Main St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for sexual assault and domestic assault.

* Terry Elvin Headrick, 42, 1323 Brenda Kay Court, was arrested on suspicion of child molestation.

* Chad Vincent McElrath, 32, unknown address, was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for failure to appear for no driver's license and on a Maryville, Mo., warrant for failure to appear for possession of marijuana.

* Brandon Lamonte Westfall, 26, 123 N. Clark Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a peace disturbance.

* Benjamin Paul Burch, 33, 1616 N. Spanish St., was arrested on a warrant.

* Shawn Michael Way, 25, 1447 Pemiscot St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear on a seat-belt violation.

* Pauline S. Clares, 49, 101 N. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a suspended operator's license.

Assaults

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Kidds, 103 N. Kingshighway, reported gasoline stolen.

* An air conditioner was reported stolen at 211 S. Hanover St.

* Rhodes 101, 546 S. Sprigg St., reported gasoline stolen.

* A printer and scanner were reported stolen at 419 North St.

Property damage

* A vehicle was reported scratched at 3439 William St.

* A vehicle's rear windshield was reported broken at 2045 Steven Drive.

* A window was reported broken at 809 N. Spanish St.

Miscellaneous

* Don's Store 24, 34 S. Sprigg St., reported counterfeiting.

* A 47-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* Harassing phone calls were reported.

* A 52-year-old woman was placed in protective custody.

* A 41-year-old man was placed in protective custody.
