FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Darrell and Janet Hahs of Friedheim announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth Hahs, to Shawn Steven Roth. He is the son of Steve and Carol Roth of Frohna, Mo.

Hahs is a 2005 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She received an associate degree in education from Jefferson College in 2007. She is assistant manager at New York and Co. in Cape Girardeau.

Roth is a 2005 graduate of Perryville High School, and a 2008 graduate of Missouri Taxidermy Institute. He is a taxidermist and owner of Roth Taxidermy in Perryville, Mo.

An Oct. 23 wedding is planned at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg, Mo.
