Supplying storybooks for soldiers

The Kirlin's Hallmark in the West Park Mall is holding a fundraiser for recordable storybook readers to be sent to soldiers overseas. Each Kirlin's Hallmark location will be accepting donations to help purchase "The Night Before Christmas" recordable storybooks. These books allow the service personnel to record their own voice reading of this classic Christmas story, and to send them back to their children at home. As of Aug. 12, the company nationwide has purchased more than 2,000 recordable storybooks. For more information, visit www.kirlinshallmark.com or Reggie Reed at 334-7155.
