Dewitt - Couch

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Phil and Teresa DeWitt of Sikeston announce the engagement of their daughter, Heather DeWitt, to Brandon Couch. He is the son of Carroll and Becky Couch of Sikeston.

DeWitt received a bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. She expects to receive a master's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in December 2011. She is a loan officer at Progressive Farm Credit Services.

Couch received a bachelor's degree in business administration management from Southeast University in 2006. He expects to receive a bachelor's degree in nursing from Southeast in May 2011.

A Jan. 1 wedding is planned.
