Jackson police/fire report 10/8/10

POLICE

The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Lance W. McGuire, 18, 1225 Brandom St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

* Charla Huston, 40, 1225 Brandom St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine precursors and child endangerment.

* Michael E. Minner, 41, 1225 Brandom St., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine precursors and child endangerment.

Property damage

* Property damage was reported in the 500 block of North Hope Street.

Miscellaneous

* Forgery was reported in the 100 block of Court Street.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 2300 block of Winesap Drive.

* A peace disturbance was reported in the 700 block of West Adams Street.

* Harassment was reported in the 4200 block of East Jackson Boulevard.

FIRE

Firefighters responded to the following calls Wednesday:

* Emergency medical service on Brandom Street.

* A report of smoke on East Lane.

* Emergency medical service on Deerwood Drive.

Firefighters responded to the following call Thursday:

* Emergency medical service on West Independence Street.
