Essner - Panosian

BENTON, Mo. -- Larry and Betty Essner of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Janelle Elizabeth Essner, to Timothy Daniel Panosian, both of Nashville, Tenn. He is the son of Dan and Karen Panosian of Elmira, N.Y.

Essner is a 2004 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She received a bachelor of science degree in special education from the University of Missouri in 2008, and a master of education in high incidence disabilities from Vanderbilt University in 2010. She is a sixth grade teacher at Severe Behavior Intervention in Nashville.

Panosian is a 2001 graduate of Horseheads High School in Horseheads, N.Y. He received a bachelor of science degree in biochemistry from Binghamton University in 2005, and a Ph.D. in pharmacology from Vanderbilt in 2010. He is a research fellow at Vanderbilt.

A July 16 wedding is planned at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Mo.
