Sam and Sandra McMillan of Parkton, N.C., announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Hathaway, to Dan Huebel, both of Fayetteville, N.C. He is the son of Tom and Barbara Huebel of Smyrna, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau and Jackson.

Hathaway is a registered nurse case manager at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

Huebel is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, and expects to receive a master's degree in business from Fayetteville State University in May. He is area manager with S&W Ready Mix Concrete in Fayetteville.

An April 30 wedding is planned at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
