Oehl - Allen

Doyle and Jane Oehl of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Maria Renee Oehl, to Brock Kenneth Allen of St. Louis. He is the son of Brian and Beth Allen of Linn Creek, Mo.

Oehl is a 2004 graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 2008, and a master's degree in curriculum, instruction and assessment in 2009, both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a teacher with Jackson School District.

Allen is a 2004 graduate of Eureka High School, and a 2008 graduate of the University of Missouri. He is employed at Lindenwood University, and is pursuing a graduate degree in education.

A summer wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson.
