Kids Meet Kangaroos Courtesy of Local Patron

On Thursday children with the Cape Area Family Resource Center summer camp visited the Lazy L Safari Park, a walk-though zoo located in Cape Girardeau, courtesy of Dr. Sonjay Fonn of Midwest Neurosurgeons. Fonn provided free admission to more than 50 of the camp's children, providing them with a day trip the camp would otherwise not have been able to afford. In light of recent news that this year 's summer camp would be the last, the family resource center and its children were very thankful for the chance to see and interact with the zoo's exotic animals.
