Cape Girardeau police report 7/8/11

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Dustin W. Troutwine, 20, 412 S. Missouri Ave., was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance at 3049 William St.

* A subject was into custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and property damage.

Thefts

* A purse was reported stolen at Jefferson Avenue and South Sprigg Street.

* A theft of fuel was reported at Bistate, 920 N. Kingshighway.

* A theft of fuel was reported at Rhodes 101, 1126 N. Sprigg St.

* A safe was reported stolen at 1026 Bloomfield Road.

Property damage

* A glass window was reported damaged at 1 S. Sprigg St. by the city of Cape Girardeau.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit/debit device was reported.

* A 32-year-old man was placed in protective custody.

* A 15-year-old was taken into custody for being beyond parental control.
