Sterling - Malahy

Janie and Mike Warne of Grassy, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Sterling, to Nathan Malahy, both of Jackson. He is the son of Barry and Marty Malahy and Deanna and Ed Kranawetter of Jackson.

Sterling graduated from Metro Business College in 2005 as a medical assistant. She is a registered medical assistant at Prompt Care in Jackson.

Malahy received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001. He is a merchandiser at Buchheit's.

An Oct. 1 wedding is planned at Old McKendree Chapel in Jackson.
