Marcum - Wittenborn

Michael and Susan Marcum of Sedalia, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelley Renae Marcum, to Scott Michael Wittenborn, both of Columbia, Mo. He is the son of Brad and Michele Wittenborn of Cape Girardeau.

Marcum received a bachelor of science degree in secondary education and English literature from the University of Missouri in 2010. She completed a master's of education in teaching and curriculum in 2011. She is teaching ninth grade English and world studies at West Junior High School in Columbia.

Wittenborn received a bachelor of science degree in history from the University of Missouri in 2007. He completed teaching certification in 2010, and expects to finish a master's of education degree in 2012. He is teaching sixth grade social studies at Gentry Middle School in Columbia.

An Aug. 4, 2012, wedding is planned at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia.
