Essner - Daume

Mr. and Mrs. James M. Essner of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Mary Essner, to Eric Christian Daume. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne K. Daume of Cape Girardeau.

Essner is a 2005 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received an honors bachelor of science degree in investigative and medical sciences from St. Louis University in 2009, and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Goldfarb School of Nursing at Barnes-Jewish College in 2010. She is a registered nurse in the Neurosciences Institute at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Daume is a 2002 graduate of Central High School. He received a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2008. He is an infusion pharmacist, and is director of pharmacy at Home Parenteral Services of Southeast Missouri.

A November wedding is planned at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.
