Dirnberger - Mabury

PERKINS, Mo. -- Gerard and Shari Dirnberger of Oran, Mo., and Renee and Elmer VanderMierden of Advance, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Renee Dirnberger, to Shayn Ryan Mabury, both of Perkins. He is the son of Sharon Deckard of Patterson, Mo.

Dirnberger is a 2002 graduate of Oran High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies from the University of Missouri in 2007. She expects to receive a master of arts degree in human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2013. She is a specialist with DAEOC Early Head Start Home Based Program in New Madrid, Mo.

Mabury is a 2002 graduate of Clearwater High School. He received an associate degree from Mineral Area College in 2005, and a bachelor's degree in general studies from Southeast in 2007. He is a store manager with AT&T in Dexter and Kennett, Mo.

An Oct. 13 wedding is planned at Guardian Angel Church in Oran.
