Straedey - Dixon

Paul and Bridget Straedey of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Kimberly Joanne Straedey, to Michael Alton Dixon. He is the son of Douglas and Angela Dixon of St. Louis. Straedey is also the daughter of the late Vivian Straedey.

Straedey is a graduate of Jackson High School. She received a bachelor's degree in human and environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a child advocate at the Safe House for Women.

Dixon is a graduate of Central High School. He is employed at Dexter Bar-B-Que in Cape Girardeau.

An April 2013 wedding is planned at The Water's Edge.
