Soest is a 2007 graduate of Owensville High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in music from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo., in 2012. She is a graduate student studying special education at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz.

Williams is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from Truman University in 2010. He is a third year medical student at Kansas City University School of Medicine and Biosciences.

An April 27, 2013, wedding is planned at Ste. Genevieve Catholic Church in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.
