The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* Jason M. Defriese, 22, 2343 Belleridge Pike, was issued a summons for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

Arrests

* Ulrick V. McGuire, 20, 2808 Themis St., No. 3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for domestic assault.

* Sheraton M. Lockeridge, 23, 324 S. Middle St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Sarah J. Hanebrink, 27, 545 S. Hanover St., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear.

* Eric S. Amyx, 25, 110 N. Park St., Apt. 1, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for helmet violation.

* Tyra L.D.M. May, 24, was arrested on suspicion of stealing shoes and clothing at Kohls, 315 Shirley Drive.

Summonses

* Christopher W. Bird, 19, 2736 Luce St., was issued a summons for possession of marijuana and no license plate light.

* Bradley S. James, no age given, of Jackson was issued a summons for failure to stop at a steady red light.

* Brian J. Ramano, 38, 611 Mechaw Drive, was issued a summons for no insurance and failure to maintain a single lane.

* Domestic assault was reported.

Thefts

* Theft of building materials, a cellphone, money and tools was reported at 1800 William St.

* Rhodes 101, 2109 William St., reported fuel stolen.

* Theft of a purse was reported at 52 S. Plaza Way.

* Victoria's Secret, 3049 William St., reported theft.

Property damage

* Damage to a vehicle was reported at 2525 Boutin Drive.

* Property damage was reported at 2801 Bloomfield Road.

Miscellaneous

* A 50-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 22-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 28-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 61-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 27-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
