CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Joseph M.T. Scruggs, 17, 111 N. West End Blvd., was arrested on an Alexander County, Ill., warrant for driving while suspended and an unlawful number of passengers.

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of domestic assault and felonious restraint.

* Jondre M. Grant, 20, 2863 Whitener St., Apt. B-3, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau County warrant for larceny and was issued a summonses for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

* Thomas J. Thornton, 36, 616 Sycamore Circle, Apt. 118, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for a traffic offense.

Summonses

* Allan W. Reinagel, no age given, of Kelso, Mo., was issued a summons for following too close.

* Esther M. Waldrup, no age given, 107 E. Lake Drive, was issued a summons for improper backing.

* John W.J. Russell, no age given, of McClure, Ill., was issued a summons for failure to yield and no insurance.

* Dana S. Johnson, 43, 707 Broadway, and Melvin J. Steward Jr., 27, 1215 College St., were issued summonses for trespassing at 701 Broadway.

* Heather M. Robin, no age given, 111 Cape Hills Drive, was issued a summons for following too close.

* Brandon L. Graft, 21, of Ellisville, Mo., and Jordan F. Motz, 21, of Foristell, Mo., were issued summonses for maintaining a disorderly house.

Assaults

* Assault was reported.

* Domestic assault was reported.

* Burglary and theft of jewelry, a jewelry box, money and a pocket knife were reported at 1704 Cecilia St.

* Burglary and theft of two flat-screen televisions were reported at 1181 Bertling St.

Thefts

* Theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 7 Village Drive.

* Champs Sports, 3049 William St., reported theft.

* Rhodes 101, 1624 N. Kingshighway, reported fuel stolen.

Property damage

* Damage to two driver's side tires was reported at 121 S. Sprigg St.

Miscellaneous

* Interference with custody was reported.

* Interference with custody was reported.

* A 36-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 45-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 44-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

* A 21-year-old man was taken into protective custody.

The Southeast Missouri State University Department of Public Safety released the following items.

Theft

* Theft of an iPad was reported at the Show Me Center.
