MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Brian and Jo Ann Barrett of Marble Hill announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Ann Barrett, to David Burzynski. He is the son of Russell and Debbie Burzynski of Paducah, Ky.

Barrett is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Murray State University in 2009. She expects to receive a doctorate of dental medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in June 2014.

Burzynski is a 2006 graduate of Reidland High School in Paducah. He received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from MSU in 2010. He is assistant manager of service at Audi in Lexington, Ky.

A July 20 wedding is planned at Kenlake in Hardin, Ky.
