Boos - Weidenbenner

John and Cecelia Boos of Cape Girardeau announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline Renee Boos, to David Weidenbenner. He is the son of Curtis and Stephanie Weidenbenner of Cape Girardeau.

Boos is a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish in 2011, and a master's degree in education in 2012, from Truman State University. She is a Spanish teacher at St. Vincent de Paul School, and an ESL instructor at Southeast Missouri State University.

Weidenbenner is a 2006 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He received a bachelor of science degree in psychology and criminal justice from Southeast in 2010, and is a 2011 graduate of Mineral Area College Law Enforcement Academy. He is a police officer with city of Festus, Mo.

A Sept. 28 wedding is planned at St. Mary Cathedral.
