Dustin Lindgren of Patton, Mo., was named the Missouri Department of Conservation's Southeast Regional Logger of the Year for 2012. Lindgren received two protective kits for his crew valued at $160 each donated by Crader Distributing Company, headquartered in Marble Hill, Mo. The award is given to the logger who demonstrates the ability to carry out a timber harvest in a manner that causes the least amount of damage to the remaining resources on site.
