The Jackson Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

Arrests

* Andrew M. Kersbergen, 18, 454 Meier Lake Drive, was arrested on suspicion of possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* Bradley T. Alton, 32, 3826 County Road 324, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear and for resisting arrest.

* Benny J. Benaventre Jr., 25, 610 Odus Drive, was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.

* Michael A. Estes, 23, of Steeleville, Mo., was arrested on a Jackson warrant for failure to appear for public intoxication and trespassing.

* Nikki R. Neel, 23, 323 Daisy Ave., was arrested on a Cape Girardeau warrant for failure to appear for a seat-belt violation.

* Erin E. Newsom, 35, 2094 Old Toll Road, No. 25, was arrested on suspicion of assault of a law enforcement officer, resisting arrest, third-degree assault, peace disturbance, harassment and trespassing.

Summonses

* Ronald G. Clark, 60, 1944 Ripken Way, was issued summonses for leaving equipment in a nonindustrial zone, public nuisance for trailer and debris and public nuisance for construction equipment.

* Steven J. Pettigrew, 54, 406 East Lane, No. 4, was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

* Robert W. Peel, 46, 619 Goodson Drive, was issued a summons for failure to register a motor vehicle.

* James E. Thompson, 24, 509 Blanche St., was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large.

* Jean M. Ponder, 57, 752 Pecan Lane, was issued a summons for seat-belt violation.

* Rachael L. Carlton, 31, 311 Bedrock Lane, was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.

* Kaylee I. Pierce, 21, of Cape Girardeau was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with an expired operator's license.

* Peace disturbance was reported in the area of city park.

* Keep the peace was requested in the 500 block of North Hope Street.

* Keep the peace was requested in the 300 block of Greensferry Road.

* Check the welfare was requested in the area of Sappington Drive.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 200 block of East Main Street.

* Check the welfare was requested in the 400 block of South Hope Street.

* An assist was requested in the 400 block of North Shawnee Boulevard.

* An assist was requested in the 600 block of South Hope Street.

* A court-order violation was reported in the 600 block of North West Lane.

* A court-order violation was reported in the 300 block of South Missouri Street.
