CAPE GIRARDEAU

The Cape Girardeau Police Department released the following items. Arrests do not imply guilt.

DWI

* April L. Altice, 30, 1400 S. West End Blvd., No. 19, was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Arrests

* A suspect was in custody pending formal charges of resisting and interfering with arrest.

* Christopher L. Brown, 37, of Jackson was arrested on suspicion of stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Summonses

* Zahir Ahmed, no age given, 3134 Park Place Drive, was issued a summons for following too close.

* Patricia L. Popp, no age given, 1336 Howell St., was issued a summons for failure to yield.

* Carlene S. Stewart, no age given, of Lansing, Mich., was issued a summons for failure to maintain right half of roadway.

* Jewell E. Dawalt, 68, of Jackson was issued a summons for stealing at Wal-Mart, 3439 William St.

Assault

* Domestic assault was reported.

Burglary

* Burglary and theft of televisions, a DVD player and a DVD/VHS player were reported at Crain Funeral Home, 829 N. West End Blvd.

Thefts

* A sign post was reported stolen at 716 N. Sprigg St.

* Theft of money was reported at 2820 Independence St.

* An iPhone was reported stolen at 1500 Whitener St.

* A laptop computer was reported stolen at 916 N. Frederick St.

Miscellaneous

* Fraudulent use of a credit device was reported.

* A 46-year-old man was taken into protective custody.
