The Arts Council of Southeast Missouri

The 28th annual Eighth Congressional District High School Art Competition will feature original artwork by high school students in Missouri's 8th Congressional District. Entries include paintings, photography, drawings, printmaking, computer-generated art, and mixed media pieces. Justin H. Miller and Debbi Bollinger will judge the entries and the first place piece will be displayed on Capitol Hill for one year. U.S. Rep. Jason Smith will announce the winners.

Art Gallery at Crisp Museum

Southeast Missouri State University printmaking professor Sarah Riley will present a show five decades in the making. "Sarah Riley: A Retrospective" will include paintings and prints. Riley draws inspiration from "evocation of longing and commemorative urges."
