Sarah is a 2010 graduate of Chaffee High School. She received a degree in elementary education/special education from Oakland City University in Oakland City, Indiana, in 2014.

Derrick is a 2010 graduate of Wood Memorial High School in Oakland City. He received a degree in business management from Oakland City University in 2014. He is a service sales representative with CINTAS in Evansville, Indiana.

An Aug. 2 wedding is planned at Crossroads Fellowship in Jackson.
