Warriors for Hope raises $17,000 for Relay

Southeast Cancer Center's Warriors of Hope team for Relay for Life raised $17,000 this year for the fight against cancer. Half of the proceeds went to the American Cancer Society and the other half to Southeast's We Can Weekend annual retreat for cancer patients and their families.

The team held a number of events to raise the money, including a St. Patrick's Day dinner auction and dance, a garage sale, and various activities at the recent Relay for Life Relay, including raffling a wooden bench and hosting a bounce house. Team members also assisted with the Color Run earlier this year to raise funds.
