"Do good, be good, have fun, help others."

It's what Sheree Pursley tells her children every day, and the mantra she follows in her own life as well.

Another one: "You are beautiful, you are smart, you are important."

Sheree and her husband, Greg, have two children: 8-year-old Evee-Kay and 6-year-old Izaac. When Izaac was diagnosed with dwarfism at birth, life changed drastically for the Pursley family.

Izaac's condition is tied to various other health concerns that have led to terrifying life-or-death moments, and that still require constant vigilance from his parents or nurse. Where many families would falter and collapse under the pressure of having a child with special needs, the Pursleys have maintained their faith in God and each other and have come out stronger than before. Now, Sheree mentors other families of children with special needs, helping them overcome obstacles of all types and sizes.

This stay-at-home mom is also a jane-of-all-trades who has taught herself to be a barista, makeup artist, wedding planner, personal consultant, fashion designer and jewelry artist, to name a few talents.
