Making Coke see through takes only one item you probably have in your refrigerator.

Materials

  • 12oz Bottle of Coca-Cola
  • 2-percent milk

Instructions

STEP 1: Open the bottle of Coca-Cola.

STEP 2: Carefully pour enough milk into the bottle until the bottle is completely full.

STEP 3: Screw the top on the bottle, gently move the bottle back and forth, place the bottle on a flat surface and observe.

Explanation

The acid in the Coca-Cola reacts with the proteins in the milk causing the milk to curdle. The curdled milk sinks to the bottom of the bottle, while the remaining components of the milk and Coca-Cola float.
