The Southeast Missouri Arts Council, 32 N. Main St., is accepting nominations for the 2014 Otto F. Dingeldein and Friend of the Arts awards. Deadlines for submissions is Dec. 12, and recipients will be announced during the Dingeldein Gala from 5 to 7 p.m. Jan. 16 at the Oliver-Leming House in Cape Girardeau. The Dingeldein Award was established in 1975 and honors living people whose artistic achievements have affected Cape Girardeau's cultural enrichment. The Friends award, established in 2002, honors an individual or organization for their involvement with the Arts Council.
