In this photo, the wind appears to be visibly blowing in from the upper left, carrying autumn leaves and even causing a swirl of leaves in the lower left. It is not possible to capture the wind itself in a photo, but its effects on objects such as falling leaves can be captured.

Truth is, this is a photo of floating leaves and a background forest of trees reflected in a pond. What appears to be the wind is actually the glare of sunlight on the water.

Some may say this is a form of "trick photography." I maintain that this is a way to capture the special feeling of a fleeting windy autumn day with the air full of falling leaves. Nature provided me with this opportunity and I accepted her gift.
