The Sigma Phi Epsilon Founders Scholarship has been endowed through the Southeast Missouri University Foundation. The Missouri Zeta Chapter's 1999 Founding Fathers at Southeast made contributions totaling more than $5,000, which were matched as part of the Honoring Tradition -- Inspiring Success Comprehensive Campaign. First preference for the scholarship will go to a student in Southeast's Missouri Zeta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon who has held a position in the chapter, elected or appointed, in which they created a program, improved chapter operations or excelled in a creative way in their position. The recipient must have a minimum 2.75 grade-point average. Second preference will go to any currently enrolled male student who is considered a Sigma Phi Epsilon legacy from the Missouri Zeta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity with a minimum 2.0 grade-point average. Third preference will go to any Sigma Phi Epsilon member from other chapters or universities who is enrolled at Southeast and has a 2.5 GPA.
