This Street Style edition is dedicated to Philanthropy -- literally. This column is an extension of the Buy the River column I wrote last month in the Southeast Missourian. I had an introspective Q&A with Philanthropy owner Bridgett Kielhofner, who has a passion for fashion and, more importantly, lending a hand to others.

I'm continuing the column with a Street Style segment featuring the lovely Dr. Erin Fluegge-Woolf, who also has a love for helping those in need.

The passion of Philanthropy

__McKinley: What can we expect that may be unexpected in this spring/summer's offerings?__

__Kielhofner:__ We are seeing fun patterns for spring! As the warm temps start to brighten our days, so do the bright, perfectly patterned spring pieces, ranging from dresses and flowy tops to palazzo pants and more.

__McKinley: What do you look for when deciding which charities to pledge to each year?__

__Kielhofner:__ There are so many amazing organizations, and we love to learn about the works and ministry of each. We believe in not only serving with our giving, but most importantly, serving with our time. So as a family at Philanthropy, we choose our charities together (all employees) based on the works that we see in organizations and based on much prayer on the direction God is leading us to go next. We do have certain requirements and seek organizations that are transparent and accountable in everything they do, but most of all, we seek the causes God has placed on our hearts at the time.

Now, this month's Street Style participant is Dr. Erin Fluegge-Woolf, also known as Mrs. Missouri 2014! Erin wore a beautiful white-hot dress with an on-trend sheer black netted overlay. She was at Big Al's Night Club 20-Year Reunion party held at The Venue and hosted by Al Bisher. Erin said it was a blast!

Her platform sandals, bold accessories (silver buckled belt from Stash in downtown Cape Girardeau and cool Kate Spade "No Sleep Till Brooklyn "bangle) and classic red lip all worked together perfectly. Erin divulged to me, "Something fun is that the dress is from Kmart. I saw it and fell in love. I'm always looking for dresses!" Many of us can relate.

Erin is always fabulous, whether keeping it casual or for a night on the town. She is a class act inside and out, and we are proud to call her our own.
