What extracurricular activities were you involved in? Can you tell us a little bit about your experiences?

Basketball, softball, National Honor Society, FCCLA (Family Career and Community Leaders of America), FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), FTA (Future Teachers of America), Science Club and Mathletes. I was unable to play sports this year due to tearing my ACL for the second time, but I still loved being part of the team.

Who is your role model, and why?

Bethany Hamilton (pro surfer) because she got her arm bit off by a shark, yet never gave up on her dreams. She has shown me that giving up is not an option.

Getting third place in the state softball tournament my junior year and receiving the honor of First Team All-State as a shortstop that year as well.

What are your plans after graduation? Where do you plan to attend school, and have you decided on your major? If so, tell us why you chose that path.

My plans are to attend Three Rivers Community College on a softball scholarship and go into the field of exercise science. I chose this path because I love working out and being fit, so I wish to share my passion with others.

What advice would you give to incoming freshmen?

Find something you're passionate about and give 110% to be the best at it.

In just three words, describe your high-school experience: What a ride!
