McCartney - Williams

Thomas and Colleen McCartney of Bakersfield, California, announce the engagement of their daughter, Maureen McCartney, to Warren Williams. He is the son of Dr. Craig and Robin Williams of Cape Girardeau.

Maureen received a bachelor's degree in communications from Santa Clara University, and a master's degree in marital and family therapy from the University of San Diego. She is a licensed therapist at United Behavioral Health.

Warren received bachelor degrees in international studies and business administration from the University of Missouri, juris doctorate from the University of Southern California, and master's degree in international law from London School of Economics. He is a deputy attorney general for the California Department of Justice.

An October wedding is planned on Mission Bay in San Diego.
