Amy is a graduate of Puxico High School, and received a nursing degree from Three Rivers College. She is a registered nurse at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Missouri.

Michael is a graduate of Scott City High School, and received national registry certification as a licensed paramedic. He is a flight paramedic with Air Evac LifeTeam in Sikeston.
A September wedding is planned at Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo grounds in Sikeston.
