Tractor club to host plow day, parade

River Hills Antique Tractor Club will host its 11th annual plow day from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday on Perry County Road 358 off Route C north of Menfro, Missouri. Lunch will be available on the grounds. Chaffee parish schedules breakfast

The Men's Club of St. Ambrose Parish in Chaffee, Missouri, will host a breakfast from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 6 at the parish center. The menu will include whole-hog sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 6 through 12.

Cowboy Church plans ladies' party

Cape County Cowboy Church will host a ladies' Christmas party at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 9 at its Gravel Hill location. Participants are asked to bring a potluck dish to share and baked treats to exchange. A collection of items for Hope Children's Home will take place; suggested items include trash bags, gift cards, paper cups, Styrofoam plates, dishwashing liquid, African American haircare products and deodorant.

Breakfast, bake sale at Apple Creek church

St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, Missouri, will host a breakfast and bake sale from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 13 in the church hall. The menu will include sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, coffee cake and beverages. Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children ages 5 through 12. Carryouts will be available. The event is sponsored by the Men's Club.

Church plans Christmas concert

Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau will host a holiday concert, "Christmas at Grace," at 7 p.m. Dec. 20. The concert will feature the 15-member Grace Notes Bell Choir and the church's 20-member Chancel Choir performing songs including "Sing We Now of Christmas," "All I Want for Christmas Is You," "Rise Up Shepherd," "Jingle Bell Rock," "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" and more.
