Billy and Melissa Rodgers of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Kathy Rodgers of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Katherine Rodgers of Jackson, to Jacob Laurence Bagot of Cape Girardeau. He is the son of Jim Bagot of Cape Girardeau and Lisa Grigsby of Jackson.

Bailey is a 2009 graduate of Jackson High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University for commercial photography and Columbia College for business administration and entrepreneurship. She is a freelance wedding photographer at Bailey Rodgers Photography and a video producer at Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau.

Jacob graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 2008. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from Southeast Missouri State University. He is a pre-K through 12th grade music teacher and band director for Richland School District in Essex, Missouri.

A Nov. 5 wedding is planned at Cape First Church.
