Jackson crews complete road work

Separate left-turn lanes are now complete on both sides of Deerwood Drive at its intersection with North High Street (Highway 61 North) in Jackson, according to a recent city news release.

The modification includes re-striping both approaches and installing left turn bays and arrows, the release stated, and "will increase the capacity, efficiency, and operation of the intersection."

Drivers are urged to use extreme caution as motorists get adjusted to the new configuration.
