Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., announced Wednesday his recommendations for the members to serve on the Missouri Farm Service Agency Board.

Fred Ferrell of Charleston, Mo., was the board member selected from Southeast Missouri. He has been operating Ferrell Farms since 1964. He also is owner and chief executive officer of Mid-Valley Irrigation, Inc.

FSA state committees are responsible for the general direction and supervision of state FSA programs.
